CMS1 - Object and Installation - Lesson #2

I name this paper sculpture Frame. It comprises five similar units, oriented differently in space. There are contrasts between straight and curved lines, the vertical and the horizontal, as well as quadilaterals and circles. The overlapping of the units also creates various geometric shapes and spaces, which gives more dynamic to the piece.

I started with something simple first, using different techniques such as folding, rolling, cutting, and sticking.

I added a bit of drawings to the above sculpture to make it more complete.

Then I tried to make something with more complexity.

I also experimented on using staples to make sculptures as below.
