Installation -- Making Land Art
Dislocation is the major method that we use in this work, where plants seem to be grown out of the rubbish bin. It makes a subtle contrast between the surrounding natural environment, as the plant is no longer natural, but artificial.
This work reveals a plant seems to grow from a rubbish bin. It is so special that a plant often grows from the nature with soil, and in general, can’t grow in rubbish bin
回覆刪除, but the plant in your artwork is distinct that a plant can be cultivated from that bad environment. The subtle contrast between the plant in natural environment and the plant in rubbish is showing that complying with the natural law is not a must, we can change it to make something different from general things that’s just like art that we need to make difference to construct our own work.
It brings a great message that humans need to reconsider how much they destroyed the nature. As we all know , a plant is not grow from a rubbish bin normally. However, it seems like a plant that is abandoned by people. As for me, it is a lonely plant which is isolated from the others. However, It is a great art work with a great message. Thus , i like it very much.
回覆刪除I was attracted by this work. It impress me that the tree is inside a rubbish bin in a background of forest. It seems the tree is limited to grow in a small rubbish bin together with the disallocate method you use. I think it may make people to reflect on protecting the nature instead of destroying them.
回覆刪除In addition, I think there is another contrast that theres a bigger tree beside which can grow strongly in the ground. But for the smaller and slimmer tree, it is not strong enough to grow in the nature and therefore treated as a rubbish inside the rubbish bin as result.
It shows the message that we need to stay strong in order to earn a live in the society.
